When I picked up my order ($55) and brought it home to my family, the food was the driest i have ever had. I called them up to let them know and they did nothing. All they said is that I didnt order my food with sauce. I will never eat here again and would recommend eating at another place

We've ordered delivery and picked up from this place a few times now and we have loved it each time. We live in Summerlake community and this is the best Chinese place we have found that does delivery! Pizza delivery gets old fast, so this is a great alternative. We are vegetarian and this place makes some good broccoli with tofu and garlic sauce. We also tried Kung Pao tofu and Gen Tso tofu w/ broccoli and water chestnuts and all items were great. We got it with a side of fried rice. Unfortunately they don't had brown rice. The red boxes of rice are a nice look :)Customer service could be better. One younger guy I spoke to the first time was easy to understand and talk to. The younger girl is not bad.

I got this big order a few minutes ago. main was the crispy whole fish, $21 for a cold crispy fish, well done but what concerns me the most is that some parts were crispy but others fall apart like mushy as for not good, that’s when I stopped eating; house special fried rice enough meat but bland; tempura nail it but would have been great to have it hot; vegetable egg foo young burnt; house salad has just lettuce, not even carrots; chicken and broccoli bland and very acceptable dumplings. yes I’m a chef by all means ain’t matter if it’s a neighborhood restaurant important is to bring out fresh food. wonder what is your sanitation rate. I’m from out of town and sorry to who answer the phone but $3 will not compensate a food poisoning.

Do not eat at this restaurant!!! My entire family got food poisoning, throwing up multiple times in the morning each. Called the restaurant and they would not even refund of my money from the overly expensive Chinese food that caused us to be sick. It is the weekend, but rest assure I will be calling the health inspector of orange county on Monday to complain about this restaurant. If you decide to eat here good luck!

Used to love this place, but recently the staff have become incredibly rude and disrespectful, add that to the fact that I found a bone in my supposed-to-be boneless food (It made it into my mouth), I could have sustained an injury if I didn't notice! When I tried to speak to a person in charge, I was told "They are not here, they're in China, we were dropped off here and he went back." Uhhh, okay. It's a shame but I am no longer a customer here and I highly do not recommend anyone spend your money here.

We've ordered from here for years and the food has been decent, just not many options for Chinese in the area. Tonight however was our last. We ordered our food, fast delivery, looked good except we ordered chow mein and got a dish with glassy noodles, not chow mein. My wife called to alert them and the woman on the phone immediately got defensive, told her "you are American, not Chinese", even put a supposed customer on the phone to reiterate the same line of BS. Needless to say my wife has spent extensive time in China and this was not chow mein. Extremely unprofessional, will never order from there again. Sad part is they have no competition, the second a half decent Chinese restaurant opens nearby, they are done.

Wow, I can't believe I didn't pay more attention to the reviews. I just had some of the worst Chinese food ever.Everything I ordered to eat tasted like it was a week old already.The only item that tasted fresh was the fortune cookie. "YOU SHOULD FIND ANOTHER PLACE".

It is not a big, fancy and touristic place, but is really cosy. The food is well prepared and the owner is also one of the sushi men. The price is not as high as usual for Japanese food in Orlando and you may enjoy good oriental beers, such as Kirin and Asahi. Loved the place!

I’ve never had a waiter demand a tip. Having bad service & give the comment “tips are a given, can you leave a tip this time?”

The food isn’t the best but it’s okay for this area, HOWEVER the service is TERRIBLE this is the second time we ordered from this spot and the driver has literally fought with me both times about a tip NOT only does he argue with you at the door that he isn’t getting enough but he resorts to calling your phone repeatedly to remind you that he is living off of tips. Your $14 sweet and sour chicken is not worth the hassle!

First time ordering from here. Person taking my order and delivery guy were nice. Food delivered on time. White rice was good and crab rangoon was very good. Entrees, although looked good, were watery and tasteless. Chefs need work on their sauces. I guess we will stick to Panda Express.🤷‍♀️

Best place for roast duck and many other dishes to try! Their food are always fresh and made to order. The duck are not too fatty like other asian supermarket or restaurants. The staffs are always super nice. This is my all time go to local asian restaurant

This is the best restaurant EVER! Our food was hot and fresh and arrived within minutes of our phone order. SPECTACULAR! service and quality of food!. We order from here all the time! Please patronize this place!

Lunch portions are a lot. But sweet-and-sour sauce is very watery.Flavor is not the best. For lunch it taste like old oil and perhaps from the night before leftovers.

We order food to go about once a month. They always handle our special requests properly. Food is nicely prepared. We are pleased.

This is our go to place for Chinese. They've had problems in the past with keeping up orders but the past few times I've been there they've all been on time with piping hot food. I usually stick to the beef & broc, or sweet & sour chicken, or chicken lo mein, or the general zao.

We ordered our food from doordash and it did not taste right once my girlfriend and I started eating. We both developed food poisoning and vomited it up later that evening. Would not order from here again.

Nice little quiet place. Came for the all-you-can-eat sushi, and it did not disappoint. Waiter could have paid more attention.

This place is really bad and only wish i could give this place a ZERO star. The price is way too expensive and the To Go's are awful! They're always slow and always missing something from my order. The "To Go" staff is rude and they do not refund your money even when they messed up on your order and make your family wait for over 2 hours for your food even though you've already paid in full with your CC over the phone! DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at all.

We used to really like Summer Palace, but it’s gone downhill recently. It seems like the management is constantly changing and it has resulted in bad service. I called tonight to order two sweet and sour chicken plates. The chicken and rice arrived an hour later, but no sauce. We called and let them know and they didn’t believe us, but said they would send it when the driver got back. It’s been another hour and 15 minutes and we still have no sauce. I’m so disappointed in this place since it’s the only Chinese restaurant that delivers to us. Edit: It’s been two and a half hours since we first called. One hour and a half since the people said the sauce was on the way to us. We just called again and the delivery drive took the sauce to the wrong house. We asked for our money and they said give the food back and we can have our money. I’ve never experience such bad customer service in my entire life.

We really like this Chinese Restaurant specially having fresh sushi. Priced high for being Chinese food, but is good to have around.

The service was top notch. The food was delicious. And the portions? HUGE for the price. Our sushi rolls were fresh and big, and not over $10!!!! The only problem was the fried rice tasted old-ish, but there was so much food on the plate that we didn't feel cheated.

your sushi is amazinggggg!! THE DYNAMITE ROLL IS MY FAVVV! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I dont like a lot of spicy foods, but this was an exception.

Food is great. The only thing is the soups not much flavor. Could use a little more seasoning. Their lunch special gives you a amazing value. Lots of food for the price.

The sad part is, this place has no closer competition. They almost have built in clientele. What is needed is competition. This place has steadily gone downhill and they don’t care because people keep going back. I hadn’t been here in years. Decided to give it another try. Big mistake. Don’t support a business that offers a mediocre product, and has bad customer service. This is an area where they know they can set their prices a little bit higher. Please, can we get a little competition?!?!?

Ordered delivery tonight... got cut off on the phone to put other people on hold. While she hurried me through the order she wrote down the wrong address. So I waited over an hour for a delevery that cost me 60 bucks for two people. Only living 10 mins away. Foe the driver to forget the apps we ordered . Then waited 45 more mins for a salad. Usually good food and great service but I'm not sure where things went wrong and I'll prob go somewhere else for the food as none of it came as described. * fried rice- with mo mixed veg. Asked if it had it.. was told yes. And crab rangoons undercooked. Not a great experience.

The quality of the food is not always​ good. Sometimes the food is great and other times it is way off. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. However I do not recommend this place unless your just in a pinch. If you want good Chinese food then maybe shop around a little bit more.

This place is incredibly close to where we live. The staff is always friendly and the food is good. Talk slowly on the phone or you’ll have to repeat yourself. I’ve ordered smaller meals that have been good and even put in a huge order and everyone was happy with it; we weren’t missing items and the food was hot. It is not the absolute best food I’ve ever had (I’m from NJ) but for the convenience factor, it’s well worth it.

This has certainly been my number one Chinese take out choice since moving to Florida. The staff are wonderful and the food is hot, fresh, and full of flavor. I am often hesitant with seafood or meat when ordering out, however, here the meat is always juicy and never dry. Sushi is also incredibly delicious and the only place I will order it as a take out option. Absolutely love this restaurant!

Excellent food! Just ordered for delivery and not only was it available on Christmas Eve, it was delivered immediately. Phone and delivery service was so friendly. Food is delicious!

Do NOT eat at this restaurant. Their food preparation is unsafe. I ordered shrimp tempura and the shrimp were not deveined!!! This is disgusting. I should not have to bite into shrimp and find poo. I did not eat the rest of the food as I was concerned about safe preparation. I have reported this to the restaurant and have not yet received a response.

Absolutely delicious food, my favorite is the Hibachi chicken or steak with rice. Excellent customer service

In my search for good Chinese food many people recommended Summer Palace. I called in an order for pickup and the worker on the phone was very helpful and clear. The order was ready for pick up when I got there about 15 minutes after I called. I was met by a gentleman that started to cash me out but then just passed me on to another worker. Prices are decent for the amount of food you get and by that I mean you get a lot of food. I got a General Tso Chicken dinner combo and I recieved a full take out tray with General Tso Chicken, a small box of rice, and an egg roll with wonton soup. Typically you would get a takeout tray with 1/2 chicken, 1/2 rice but not at Summer Palace. The food was cooked well and spice on point but left a bit of a weird after taste in my mouth. It isn't the best I have had but also not the worst I have had in the area.

We love trying new Chinese takeout restaurants and have tested/tasted quite a few and this was by FAR the worst ever! The restaurant seemed clean, the staff was fine, but the food tasted SO bad. We ordered about $40 worth of food to try various dishes and ended up throwing out 90% of the food. I hated being so wasteful but we didn't have a choice. We will be going back to Stoneybrook West China Wok which is a much further drive for us, but it will be worth the drive.

Best poke bowl ever!

Summer Palace is our neighborhood favorite. We usually dine late, after 8 pm and never have to wait for a table. The staff is friendly and attentive. I always get the Singapore rice noodles, pictured here. As you can see the portion is HUGE! I always have another meal the next day with the leftovers. I order extra curry sauce on the side as it is a little dry for my taste. The spices are spot on and it brings the heat! Also L be their wonton soup and cashew chicken.
